CONTRIBUTOR INFORMATION

Guidelines for submitting articles

Contributions are cordially invited and should be accompanied by the name and address of the contributor (not necessarily for publication). Analysis and International articles should not exceed 6,000 words and should be sent to Professor Barry A.K. Rider, Jesus College, Cambridge, CB5 8BL or email b.rider@jesus.cam.ac.uk. Analysis articles should be accompanied by an abstract not exceeding 60 words. Briefing articles should not exceed 1500 words, be as topical as possible and should also be sent to Professor Rider. Contributors must supply their full contact details for further correspondence and are responsible for complying with the house style guide before making a submission.

Presentation:
by e-mail in MS Word or WordPerfect format. Or: sent on A4 paper, typed on only one side of the page, paginated, double-spaced (including footnotes), and accompanied by a copy on disk, preferably in MS Word or WordPerfect format.

Review process:
contributions will be refereed anonymously and be accepted entirely at the discretion of the Board.

Copyright:
Copyright in material submitted to the journal shall remain with the author(s). By accepting an offer to publish material in the journal, authors shall grant to the editors and publishers a perpetual, non-exclusive, irrevocable, free and royalty free licence to publish, reproduce and distribute the material, in substantially the form submitted, in the journal, however disseminated (including on the internet), and to use the material in whole or in part for the purposes of advertising and promoting the journal.

By accepting an offer to publish, authors agree not to publish the material elsewhere except on their own non-commercial website (i.e. a website providing free information only, by way of promotion of the author's practice or business) or on academic sites such as university websites and SSRN, and that any such reproduction of material published in the Company Lawyer shall be attributed as follows: [issue year] The Company Lawyer: No. issue number, (c) Sweet & Maxwell and author, available via www.westlaw.com

Libel:
Whilst the publisher and editors will never knowingly publish any material they consider to be libelous or potentially libellous, they shall not be responsible for advising the authors of any potentially libellous content. By accepting an offer to publish in the Review, authors shall agree to indemnify the publisher and the editors against any claim for libel or similar made against them.

Complimentary copies: Two complimentary copies of the issue in which his/her article appears will be provided to each contributor
