2011 is a year of enormous change for the police. Consider and assess:

  • The Police Reform and Social Responsibility Act heralding the radical innovation of democratically elected Police and Crime Commissioners
  • The challenge of government spending cuts and maintaining police effectiveness on smaller budgets
