The 2003 edition remains of use because it carries the pre-Proceeds of Crime Act 2002 confiscation legislation (provisions of the Criminal Justice Act 1988 and the Drug Trafficking Act 1994) and commentary which are still relevant today due to ongoing cases dealing with offences committed before POCA 2002 came into force: provisions of the 2002 Act did not apply generally to proceedings instituted before their commencement date.
