If you have hired a consultant who will deal directly with the builder on your behalf, this pack of contracts is for you.
If the consultant won't be dealing directly builder on your behalf, the building contract in this folder will not be suitable.
In this case you will need the JCT Home Owner Building Contract (HO/B) and can hire the consultant separately as your adviser.
The pack includes two separate contracts:
- A Building Contract for when you have hired a consultant to oversee the work and deal with the builder on your behalf
- A Consultancy Agreement to use if you have hired a consultant to provide consultancy services in relation to building work.
