Download and fill out to protect your project today

If you are planning simple changes to your home, or major work like an extension or loft conversion, an industry recognised JCT Home Owner Contract can help you protect your investment in your home and ensure your project is completed successfully.

If you have hired a consultant who will deal directly with the builder on your behalf, this pack of contracts is for you.

If the consultant won’t be dealing directly builder on your behalf, the building contract in this folder will not be suitable. In this case you will need the JCT Home Owner Building Contract (HO/B) and can hire the consultant separately as your adviser.

This pack includes two separate contracts:

  • A Building Contract for when you have hired a consultant to oversee the work and deal with the builder on your behalf
  • A Consultancy Agreement to use if you have hired a consultant to provide consultancy services in relation to building work.

HOW YOU RECEIVE YOUR CONTRACT

Your JCT Home Owner Contracts are provided as downloadable PDF documents.

Once you have been through the checkout process and your payment details have been approved, click the download link to activate and then download your contract/s.

The download link(s) will also be e-mailed to you. You will be sent a ZIP file which you should open to view the PDF contracts.

Please ensure that you open the contract in Adobe Acrobat and no other PDF reader on either a PC and or Mac (desktop or laptop). Once downloaded, you can then proceed to edit the contract digitally as a PDF.

Please note that you can only download your contract/s from the link/s sent to you a maximum of three times.

Your contracts will feature a DRAFT watermark which is removed once the contracts are finalised. Visit www.homeownercontracts.com for more information and practical advice for your project.
