The guide provides a high-level overview of the law in 28 jurisdictions and covers the following areas of banking regulation: relevant legislation and regulatory authorities, bank licences, forms of banks, organisation of banks, liquidity and capital adequacy, consolidated supervision, shareholding/acquisition of control, foreign investment, resolution, regulatory developments and recent trends.
