The White Book 2011 makes sure you have the Forms and additional services that make day-to-day practice that much simpler.
THE WHITE BOOK UPDATING SERVICE
Access to the White Book Updating Service is included as part of your subscription.
It gives you an easy way to keep up-to-date with CPR Rule and Form changes in between White Book releases and supplements, so you always have the most current documents and information to hand.
You can access it in three ways:
- Through the links on this site
- If you are a Westlaw UK user – log in and click on the ‘What’s New’ link
- Or by logging on to Westlaw UK Civil Procedure Online
It contains:
- A complete set of the CPR (without commentary)
- Proposed amendments to the CPR
- A complete set of the Supreme Court Rules
- New or revised forms
- All court forms [new for 2011]
Forms and Rules email alerters:
- These are sent out when changes have happened (about two or three times a year)
- You can sign up to these through the White Book Updating Service
FORMS
Forms CD
The Forms CD provides an easy, flexible way to deal with court forms.
- Provides over 400 court forms in RTF/Word and Adobe PDF that can be edited and saved using Adobe Reader 9
- Allows forms to be edited and printed, with copies made as required
- Updating CDs ensure that you have the most up-to-date version available
Forms Volume (for new subscribers)
The Forms Volume (binder and full contents) will be available for new customers to order separately at a cost
of £36 + VAT. Updates can also be ordered on request. Please contact Customer Services via sweetandmaxwell.customer.services@thomson.com or order via sweetandmaxwell.orders@thomson.com quoting the relevant order source number.
Forms Release
In 2011, following customer research, the paper Forms update will not be sent to all subscribers. Court forms can be found on the Forms CD, the White Book Updating Service or White Book on Westlaw UK for subscribers. If customers do require
a paper forms update, they should complete and return the form sent with the 2011 White Book.

Forms and Rules E-mail Alerter Service
The alerter service provides a stress free solution to ensuring that you always have the most up-to-date Forms and Rules. The alerter service is accessed through The White Book Updating Service.
- Alerts you to new and amended forms that can be downloaded to update your binder
- Notifies you of amendments to the CPR and Practice Directions

Updating Supplements
The White Book Service 2010 includes updating supplements to the materials in Volumes 1 and 2. Watch this space for information on supplements.
