Subscriptions

An 'Annual Subscription' is one that runs from January to December. Therefore if you purchase an annual subscription product at any point during the year your subscription will run from the date of purchase until the 31st of December of that year.

All the releases that may have been published before the date of your purchase will already be included in the main work at the time of purchase. You will continue to receive any further updates that are published between the date of purchase and the 31st of December of that year.

For example, if you purchase an annual subscription product on 04/07/2012 then your subscription will run from 04/07/2012 until 31/12/2012. Any releases that may have been published between 01/01/2012 and 04/07/2012 will already be included in the main work when you purchased it on 04/07/12. You will also continue to receive any releases that are published after 04/07/2012 up until 31/12/2012.

An ATS subscription is one that runs for a year from the date of purchase.

For example, if you purchase an ATS subscription on 01/09/2012 then it will run from 01/09/2012 until 31/08/2013

Yes – you can cancel your subscription at anytime in the year but you will not be entitled to a refund.

If you purchase an 'Annual Subscription' anytime during the year before October, you will be required to renew it at the end of the year in order to keep the subscription active for the following year.

However, if you purchase an 'Annual Subscription' after the 1st of October then your subscription will run until the 31st of December of the following year. Please note that this is only applicable to all legal looseleaf and CD 'Annual Subscription' products and you will be charged the following year’s main work price.

For example, if you were to purchase a legal annual subscription product on 05/10/2012 then your subscription period will run from 05/10/2012 to 31/12/2013. You will not be required to renew your subscription until 31/12/2013.

Our subscriptions run continuously and you will receive a subscription statement detailing the title/s that you subscribe to 2 months before each subscription is due to renew. You can use this statement to make any changes to the subscriptions itemised, or to tell us if you wish to cancel a subscription. You must tell us within 30 days of the subscription statement date after which your subscription will continue as listed.

One month later you will receive an invoice for the title/s that you want to continue to subscribe. Payment is required within 30 days so that the updates will continue to be sent to you without interruption for the next 12 months

If you have indicated that you do not wish to receive your subscription(s) on a continuous basis, we can send you renewal notices and reminders. When your subscription is within 3 months of the expiry date, we send out notices reminding you of this and asking you if you would like to renew your subscription for the following year. This document is called a renewal notice. It is not an invoice or a request for payment; it is a reminder which requires you to confirm if you would like to continue with the subscription for another 12 months.

A 'Charge By Release' subscription is one where upon purchase of the main work you will be registered to receive all future updates on a 'Charge By Release' basis. I.e. you will be charged for each individual release as and when you are sent them. Each release will be followed by an invoice charging you for it. Therefore, there is no annual fee to be paid for CBR subscriptions. Such subscriptions will continue to run on your account until a request has been received to terminate the service.

At the point of purchase of the main work it will be up to date to include all the releases. If any releases are then due out within 60 days of when the main work was purchased then such releases will be sent out without charge.

A standing order service automatically provides you with new editions and updating supplements as soon as they are published. Once your standing order is registered, you will be charged for each individual edition or supplement on a separate invoice as and when they are sent to you. Therefore, there is no annual fee for a standing order.

The service will remain active on your account until we receive a request to cancel it.

We will give you a discount for as long as the standing order remains in place.

The discount will be applied to the price of an edition or supplement as advertised on our website. (Please note, that the discount will not be applied against delivery charges).

10% discount for a standing order to all future editions and all updating supplements OR 5% discount for a standing order to only the updating supplements of the current edition.

The discount will automatically be applied to your order when it is published.
