Contributor Information
Guidelines for Authors
1. We welcome the submission of articles for consideration by the Editor with a view to publication. In general, the most acceptable length of articles for the Journal is 5,000-10,000 words, though shorter or longer contributions may be considered for publication. Please also include an abstract of no more than 50 words describing the contents of the article. This abstract will appear on the cover of the Journal. Reviews intended for the British Business Law section should not be longer than 5000 words. All contributions must be in English and contributors should supply his or her contact details, including an email address, for further correspondence.
2. Method of submission.
Either
One copy of the manuscript should be provided on A4 paper, clearly typed on one side of the page only, paginated, double-spaced (including footnotes), and accompanied by a copy on disk, preferably in Microsoft Word or WordPerfect format;
Or
The article should be sent as an email attachment in Microsoft Word or WordPerfect format, together with the contributor's full mailing address.
3. Footnotes should be kept to a minimum and numbered consecutively throughout the text.
4. Cases and statutes, etc., should be cited accurately and in the correct format, preferably in the footnotes.
5. Submission of a paper will be held to imply that it contains original unpublished work. Please note that it is the responsibility of the author(s) of each paper to collect any permissions and acknowledgements necessary for the paper to be published prior to submission to the Journal.
6. Articles will be referred anonymously and be accepted entirely at the discretion of the Editor.
7. Copyright in contributions is vested jointly with the authors and the publishers.
